Our founder grew up surrounded by the aromatic smoke of charcoal grills in Kabul and the vibrant spice markets of Hyderabad. These memories of family gatherings, traditional cooking methods, and recipes passed down through generations inspired the creation of Baba Kids Stop.
Moving to the United States, we noticed a gap — authentic Afghani and Hyderabadi BBQ prepared the traditional way was hard to find. So we set out on a mission to bring these centuries-old grilling traditions to American diners, without compromising on authenticity or quality.

Growing up between Kabul and Hyderabad, I watched my grandmother and mother work magic with simple ingredients — transforming lamb, chicken, and beef into aromatic masterpieces using nothing but spices, patience, and charcoal fire.
When I moved to America, I missed those flavors. The smoky seekh kebabs from street vendors in Kabul, the tender boti kebabs from Hyderabad's old city — these weren't just meals, they were home.
